Terry Brown, CEO of Home Key Builders, has built the company around a simple idea: if you are buying real estate for the long term, the quality of the house matters just as much as the numbers on a spreadsheet.

Older properties can absolutely be good investments, but they can also come with deferred maintenance that is difficult to see before purchase. Roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, foundations, and previous repairs can change the numbers quickly.
Our approach is to remove some of those unknowns by starting new. Buyers know when the house was built, receive builder warranty coverage, and can make their decision with a clearer understanding of the property they are purchasing.

A Few Things Buyers Should Know
- Homes may be sold as lots with homes to be built or as properties already nearing completion.
- Property design can change slightly based on lot size, layout, and positioning.
- Builder warranty covers the property for 1 year and structural items for 10 years, excluding tenant damage.
- Outside lender and property-management recommendations are referrals only; buyers should complete their own due diligence.
