Terry Brown, CEO of Home Key Builders, has built the company around a simple idea: if you are buying real estate for the long term, the quality of the house matters just as much as the numbers on a spreadsheet.
The team owns and works with investment property themselves, so they understand the hesitation that comes with older homes, deferred maintenance, surprise repairs, and unclear renovation histories. That experience is a big reason Home Key Builders chose to focus on new construction.

Older properties can absolutely be good investments, but they can also come with deferred maintenance that is difficult to see before purchase. Roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, foundations, and previous repairs can change the numbers quickly.
Our approach is to reduce those unknowns by starting new. Buyers know when the home was built, review the property before purchasing, and receive a one-year builder warranty under its terms and conditions.
